Join the team at Mitchell Bank. We are a successful independent community bank located in Milwaukee and New Berlin, WI, serving Milwaukee and Waukesha Counties. We are seeking a knowledgeable and motivated individual to help manage and grow our existing mortgage client base while developing and expanding relationships throughout Milwaukee, New Berlin and surrounding areas. This position is responsible for:
- The development of mortgage and consumer client relationships while adding to overall bank profitability primarily through the origination of residential first mortgage loans.
- Placement of mortgages to various secondary market investors.
- Determination of acceptability and conformance to both product and investor-specific lending standards.
- Acquisition of new mortgage sales by analyzing client-specific data.
- Generation and management of portfolio first mortgage products.
- Participation in Strategic Direction of the Loan Department.
Candidates should have secondary market lending experience, be a team player and have excellent communication skills. This position will also require understanding of loan structuring, underwriting and documentation requirements, as well as demonstrated risk assessment abilities. Must be able to be registered and maintain approved status with the nationwide registry for Mortgage Loan Originators.
